Yowza! How did that happen? Going from $2700.00-$6000 in a month means one thing: we received our tax refund. We didn’t spend much of it. My husband did splurge on some cigars. Actually from January until now we have been spending on pet visits. One of our cats (Jaeger) started having seizures. It’s very hard for any pet owner to experience this and we are fortunate to have savings. Jaeger is doing fine now but he has to be meds for the rest of his life. Luckily they do not cost much and his blood work turn out great. Speaking of tax refund, how come we get so much for a couple without children? My husband doesn’t make more than 40K and I only work part time for my job and eBay. Well, we also have my townhome which has helped. Deductions on a second property helps. By the way when we took our documents to our tax preparer, he was so happy that I already had a schedule C printed out for my eBay sales. Actually he didn’t even charge me extra for that. I guess it pays to be organize. $6,000. I haven’t seen our savings that high in a while. Next month I’m not sure if it will go up. We are going on vacation next month. This trip will be much cheaper than our Disneyland trip since we are visiting my father in law and going to Universal Studios.
